Event Description: The Dad's Day Tri is the third and final stop on the Surf Coast Trifecta. Overall and age group champions for the series will be crowned at this event and awarded their share of the series' total $3,000.00 purse. The Dad's Day Tri features the only ocean swim in East Central Florida and one of the most stunning spring courses anywhere. Event Description: The 2010 Daytona Beach Half Marathon will be held on Halloween morning, October 31. The third annual race begins on pit road of Daytona International Speedway, and the first 2.2 miles of the course are on the track. The race then winds through the city and reaches the World's Most Famous Beach (on the boardwalk) before finishing back at the track at the Speedway's actual finish line. The post-race party will be held in the Speedway's infield. The awards ceremony will take place in Gatorade Victory Lane.
